Hi, my name is Nataliya Hodson.
I am a self-taught artist, based in Wolverhampton, England.
I was quite good at art in school, but there was a huge gap between my school art and now.

The first time I discovered watercolour was 2018, it was love at first sight. I just adore it, it’s magic! Later, in 2020 I became a member of Wolverhampton Society of Artists.

So, I can say I was born as a professional artist in 2020.!

My paintings cover a wide range of subjects but my main passion is custom pet portraits and wildlife. My medium – watercolour.
I am also a big fan of sketching using liners or ink.
I welcome commissions, just contact me and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
High-quality prints are available from my original paintings in my shop.

I have recently started giving demonstrations at our local art centre and also local gallery with The Wolverhampton Society of Artists.

Fantastic event at International Watercolour Masters 2024 at Lilleshall in the UK where I was working as a volunteer. It was a pleasure to meet with some of the best watercolour artists from around the world.

Graham Short, a famous micro artist, with my miniature portrait of him, presented after a talk of his at Hammonds Gallery in Shifnal. This was the smallest portrait I have ever done, so a new experience.

A small stand I had at a local dog show in Wheaton Aston showing some of my pet portraits, the Staffy appreciated them so much he had to pose for the camera.

I have recently joined the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists and some of my artworks are now available for purchase on their website
I am a founder member and admin of a Facebook group called Wolverhampton Sketchers and we meet up most week for a chat and a sketch. See the Facebook link below.
